Premise: On the verge of a vengeful ancient goddess breaking out of her prison, two people from opposing cultures enter a blood-thirsty forest with orders to stop the event. But when the ritual requires something that will haunt them forever, they must gain autonomy over their decisions before betrayal leads to an old war being re-started between their peoples.

Frost Pack

The hunt begins.

Muddied paws on dead leaves, 

false harmony amongst the trees;

pack’s strength in chorus,

intimidation in numbers.

Breath like morning mist,

brown fur turning grey, 

air-frost clings to their coats

as it falls to the earth.

Think as one, move as one,

hunt as one, protect as one.

Forest

You are deep within a forest. The ferns brush against your legs, making shushing noises as you walk through them. They are calling the world to be quiet. Fronds touch your fingertips and glide across your palms.

Gentle water drips from the green canopy above you, down onto your skin, your hair. There is no chill in this rain. You embrace it as the droplets stroke your cheeks and cling to your clothes.

Hidden birds sing their calls to each other all around. A scattered chorus. Above you, beyond the intricate pattern of the leaves, a white sky is streaked with blue.
