Welcome to my little corner of the internet - it's so good to see you!

My name is A.S.Ford and I am a writer of fantasy, historical, and speculative fiction that embraces nature and a little darkness. My stories explore friendship, survival, how people change under pressure, acceptance, and self worth (both perceived and actual).

Here you'll find:

• FREE fiction & excerpts - poetry and short stories about victorian train stations reclaimed by nature, Christmas traditions adapted in a world stricken by zombie apolocalypse, and everything in between.
• Updates on current projects - from cozy fantasy adventure to post-apocalyptic alternative historical fiction in various stages of being written and edited. 
• Posts on my experiences with craft and storytelling - as a long time writer, reader, editor, and forever student of the craft, I have a lot to share

When I'm not writing, working at my day job, or editing under Wild Blackberry Editing, I can be found day-dreaming of mythical creatures hiding in ordinary places, visiting historical sites across the UK, reading the many books hoarded around my house, and rocking out in pajamas.
