The third week of Camp April is almost over 🏕️
Soaking in the beautiful views, I've been spending some time at the campsite. Making friends, stargazing, and sitting by the fire. Sometimes, a slower pace is exactly what we need. Not just for our physical or mental health but also for tasks that perhaps need more focus and attention than others.
You sit in the long grass of the field next to your childhood school. Often used for outside sports, like running and rounders, today it is empty. The breeze is gentle though the April sun is not yet warm enough to stop the goosebumps crawling across your shoulders and down your arms. You shiver, but keep your eyes on the forest tree line fifty yards away.
The second week of Camp April is almost over and I'm having a great time 🏕️
Had a difficult hike through the Muse Mountains so headed back to camp. I made sure to take a short stop at Lake Creative-Break and managed to avoid a writers block avalanche - very risky and not uncommon around those mountain ranges.
The first week of Camp April is almost over 🏕️
After a slight set back earlier in the week, I have finally settled into my campsite, pitched up my writing tent, and roasted story marshmallows over a warm fire of inspiration.
A promised, here is my announcement post for the project I will be working on this April 🙂
If you follow this blog, or have just caught yourself up on my previous posts, you will know that for the past 2 to 3 weeks I have been working on a personal project to regain my self-esteem, fill in the gaps of my storytelling knowldge, and create my own writing process.
Welcome to the Monthly Roundup: April 2025 edition! Where I provide an up-to-date summary of all my current projects 😊
